Basic Job Functions/Position Description
Partner with plant engineer and/or department manager on process improvement and project work in the areas of Waste, Speed, Delay or Quality
- Identify improvement opportunities
- Organize team to help in research efforts
- Assist with gathering data for capital expenditure request
- Coordinate and implement projects
Actively participate in plant safety program
- Identify and reduce hazards related to plant equipment
- Participate in safety audits
Requirements
Engineering students with Junior or Senior status
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Strong problem solver with the ability to think ahead and take action
Able to make decisions that achieve optimal results
Strong interpersonal and written/oral skills
